At the request of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has withdrawn the Interim Fall Protection Compliance Guidelines for Residential Construction. They are being replaced with the fall protection regulations in OSHA standard 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M, which is less complex and allows residential construction employers some flexibility in providing fall protection systems. MIOSHA is moving to implement the new regulations. Click here for a listing of classes.
