HB 4134 (Inventory Tax) Update
House Bill 4134, which would change the way inventory homes are taxed, was passed out of the House Tax Policy committee this morning.
What does that mean? House Bill 4134 has been moved to the House floor with recommendation for support. We have had conversations with Representative Jim Stamas, who is the Majority Floor Leader in the House, and have requested the bill be placed up for a vote next week. We will be asking you to contact your legislator when we have a date set for a vote by the full House of Representatives.
If your legislator sits on the House Tax Policy committee, please let them know you appreciate their support and encourage them to vote YES when the bill comes up for a vote on the House floor.
Those legislators who voted yes are:
Chairman Jud Gilbert (R, House District 81)
